Eligibility. The Scholarship is void outside the United States or where prohibited or restricted by law or where bonding, registration, or other requirements would be required but have not been met. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply. Scholarship will not be paid to Colleges or Universities outside of the United States. Employees of OFS and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and any other party involved in the development or administration of this Scholarship and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to apply or receive a Scholarship. Past recipients may not apply for additional scholarship awards. Additional eligibility requirements for Scholarship are listed below:

1. Must be a graduating high school senior in your final semester or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at a 4-year, 2-year, vocational, or technical institution in the United States;
2. Must be a US citizen or permanent legal resident;
3. Must be a single parent;
4. All fields of study and GPAs will be considered;

Application Period. OFS is offering 1 award each year for college school students. Applications must be received by June 30th.

How to Enter. No purchase or payment is necessary to apply for the Scholarship. Applicants agree to be bound by these Official Program Rules. Applications must be submitted online. OFS expressly reserves the right to disqualify any applicant and/or applications that are inaccurate, incomplete, or that OFS believes in good faith to be generated by an automated means or scripts or are the result of plagiarism. Applications generated by script, macro, or other automated means are void.

Use of Student Information: All information collected as a part of the Scholarship will solely be used for the purposes of the scholarship award. OFS does not distribute or sell any information submitted as a part of the scholarship application process to any third-parties. OFS will not use, publicly display, distribute, publish, create derivatives of, use in promotional materials, and copy your application and responses without the applicant’s written consent.

Awarding: OFS will award a check made payable to the scholarship winner’s accredited post-secondary institution of higher education after receiving proof of enrollment for undergraduate and graduate students. The awarding of any Scholarship is contingent upon full compliance with these Official Rules. If any potential winner fails to provide proof of identity, proof of enrollment, is found to have violated the Official Rules, or otherwise does not meet eligibility criteria, then the prize will be forfeited and will be awarded to the applicant with the next highest score, subject to verification of eligibility.

Judging & Selection: Completed scholarship applications will be reviewed by representatives of OFS to determine the winner of each Scholarship at OFS’s sole discretion. All decisions are final. OFS reserves the right not to award a Scholarship if, in its sole discretion, it does not receive any qualified applications.

Winner Notification: Scholarship recipients will be notified via the contact information provided to OFS during the application process. Scholarship recipients are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Program Rules. If an award notification is returned as undeliverable or a potential winner does not supply the required verification within the time specified, the award will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate recipient at OFS’s sole discretion.

Award Payment: The Scholarship will be awarded to the winner and paid directly to his/her accredited college or university for tuition for the semester following their win. No Scholarship money will be paid directly to the winner.

General Terms: Scholarship recipients, by acceptance of their prize, agree to release OFS, its employees, representatives, agents, contractors, assigns, advertisers, officers, directors, and shareholders from any and all liability, loss, damage, cost, claim arising out of their participation in the Scholarship or the award of or the use of prizes. OFS reserves the right to modify or terminate the scholarship program at any time for any reason in its sole discretion, with or without notice. The scholarship winner is solely responsible for any state or federal tax liability in association with acceptance of the Scholarship. If any provision of the terms and conditions of this Scholarship shall be held void, voidable, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Void where prohibited by law.
